For operators
Email Marketing
For operators sitting on a guest list they have never used — the cheapest bookings in the business, going unclaimed.
The problem this solves
You have the email address of every person who has ever stayed, eaten or booked with you. Those people already know the place, already liked it enough to come, and cost nothing to reach.
Most operators mail them once a year, in December, with a message that starts "it's been a big year for us".
Meanwhile the same operator pays commission on an OTA booking from a stranger. Email is the only channel you own outright — not rented from a platform that can change the rules.

What's included
- List setup and cleaning, with consent handled properly under the Spam Act
- A welcome sequence that runs automatically after someone books or subscribes
- Regular campaigns tied to your season and your quiet periods
- Segmentation, so past guests, enquiries and locals get different messages
- Templates built to your brand that work on a phone and in dark mode
- Reporting on opens, clicks and — where it can be tracked — bookings
Typical timeline
Three to four weeks to set up the platform, templates and welcome sequence. Campaigns then run monthly or to your season.
What it costs
From $1,200 + GST to set up, then $250 a campaign.
- Whether the list and platform already exist or need setting up
- How many campaigns a month, and how many automated sequences
- List size, because most platforms charge on it and that cost is yours
- Whether we write the campaigns or edit yours
If your list is small enough that the platform is free, we will tell you and price accordingly. And if you want something out every week, say so early — past roughly fortnightly the per-campaign rate stops being the cheapest way to do it and a retainer is the better buy. We will point that out rather than let it run.
A weekly newsletter that held above 40% for five years
The Clubs WA weekly member newsletter sustained an open rate above 40% across a five-year engagement.
Common questions
Which platform do you use?
Whichever fits your list size and budget. We set it up in your account, in your name, so the list stays yours.
How do we do this without annoying people?
Send to people who asked to hear from you, say who you are, and make unsubscribing easy — that is both the Australian Spam Act and simple manners. The bigger risk is not the law, it is sending something nobody wanted to read. If a list was collected in a way that will not stand up, we will tell you before anything goes out.
How often should we send?
Less than you fear and more than you are doing. Monthly suits most tourism operators; weekly suits venues with a regular local trade.
What if our list is tiny?
Then the first job is collecting addresses properly — at booking, at checkout, at the cellar door. A list of 200 engaged locals outperforms 5,000 strangers.
Do you write the emails?
Yes. You get them to review before anything sends.
