Tourism marketing, Western Australia
More bookings for WA tourism operators. Stronger visitor economies for WA destinations.
Based in the South West. Working across Western Australia.
Scott Aussie Tourism Marketing is a boutique tourism marketing and strategy consultancy based in Western Australia’s South West, working state-wide. Operator-side experience, not agency theory, and systems that keep working after the engagement ends.
Track record
Experience on both sides of the table
State finalist
Western Australia, 2025 Telstra Best of Business Awards
Government experience
Championed the City of Rockingham Tourist Destination Strategy (2019–2024) through to Council adoption, and now a councillor at the Shire of Manjimup — destination marketing seen from the side of the table our government clients sit on
Industry experience
Accommodation, wineries, tour operators, attractions, clubs and industry bodies. The operating problems differ, and so does the marketing
Long-time chair of a Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions advisory committee. Speaker at international agritourism and ecotourism conferences. Founded 2020, based in Manjimup, working across Western Australia.
Two audiences, one specialisation
We work only in tourism and hospitality. That is the whole business — not a sector page on a generalist agency’s website.
For operators
Accommodation, hospitality, agritourism and community clubs. You need more of the right people booking, at a price that works, without handing every margin point to an OTA. We build the brand, the website, the channels and the systems that make that happen — and we hand them over working.
For local government and destinations
Councils, regional tourism organisations and destination bodies building a visitor economy. Strategy you can defend to a council chamber, stakeholder engagement that brings the local industry with you, and a delivery record on both sides of the table.
Selected work
Named clients. Real numbers.
Most marketing agencies in this market publish activity. We publish results, with the client’s name on them and their permission to use it.
Deitos Winery
567 of 870 searches were for “winery”, not for Deitos
A Manjimup grower who had sold fruit under someone else’s label for years, launching their own brand and cellar door with almost nothing online. In six months, 319 people requested directions to the cellar door.
Clubs WA
Active sponsors from 18 to 27
A single brief to strengthen sponsor value grew into five years of marketing management: a 40-page bi-monthly magazine, the member newsletter, social media and the Annual Awards.
Tourism Rockingham
Stalled and running at a loss, to a strengthened revenue base
Six years across the board table and then working directly for the organisation. New fee-for-service agreements with the City, a rebuilt website, and an invitation back onto the board when the contract ended.
What clients say
For years our grapes went out the gate and came back with someone else’s name on the bottle. Once we had our own label and a cellar door, we needed people to actually find us — and we had almost nothing online. Andy built our first website, set up our wine and truffle sales and event bookings, and sorted out our Google listing. Now people who’ve never heard of Deitos are finding us and turning up at the door.

Andy worked with Clubs WA for five years, and in that time the brief just kept growing — it started with our sponsors and ended up covering our magazine, our newsletter, our social media and our Annual Awards. We went from 18 active sponsors to 27, our member newsletter consistently opened above 40%, and the 2022 Awards at the Esplanade brought together nearly 400 people from across the sector. He understood clubs and hospitality, not just marketing, and that’s why it worked.

How we work
Prospects, leads, customers
1. Prospects
Get in front of the right people — brand, social and the traditional channels that still work in regional WA.
2. Leads
Turn attention into enquiries and bookings — websites, email and paid advertising that pays for itself.
3. Customers
Keep them, and get them talking — service, reviews and the systems that make repeat business the default.
